Yasmeen Sabri

Yasmeen Sabri is an artist, experience designer, curator, and cultural consultant based in Amman, working at the intersection of art, heritage, and cultural development. Her multidisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture, installation, and immersive experiences, exploring the tensions between societal expectations, identity, and self-expression. Through her work, she engages audiences in a dialogue between tradition and contemporary culture, often inviting participation and interaction.

Yasmeen holds a BA in Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins (2014) and a Master’s in Information Experience Design from The Royal College of Art, London (2016). Her education equipped her with the tools to navigate both artistic practice and the design of meaningful cultural experiences, shaping her dual role as a creator and cultural strategist.

As a cultural producer and advisor, Yasmeen has led major festivals, exhibitions, and creative initiatives across the MENASA region, including programming and delivering projects for Noor Riyadh Festival, Amman Design Week, and Alserkal Avenue. Her expertise spans curatorial direction, experience design, and large-scale cultural activation, supporting innovative approaches to audience engagement and creative storytelling.

Yasmeen’s artwork has been exhibited internationally at venues including Somerset House, Sonar Festival, and Wadi Finan Gallery, where she held her first solo exhibition in 2019. Her practice reflects a deep engagement with heritage and contemporary expression, blending traditional techniques with modern materials to explore personal and collective narratives. Her work has been featured in publications such as Dezeen, Forbes, Monocle, and the London Feminist Film Festival, highlighting her contributions to both artistic and cultural discourse.

Through her multifaceted practice, Yasmeen continues to bridge art, cultural production, and heritage, creating experiences and works that foster dialogue, reflection, and innovation across the region and beyond.
